SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews says that midfielder Sipho Mbule will not play for the club again, adding that Mbule is not in the right headspace, and that they would rather finish lower down the league with a unified team than have the wantaway man in the side.
Mbule push for a move away from Matsatsantsa has been much spoken about as the player looked to force a move in the January transfer window with both Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs reportedly showing interest.
However, after letting Tebogo Mokoena go to Downs it was unlikely that SuperSport would let another key midfielder go and blocked any move.
Mbule has not reacted well and has not been the team for some time before it was officially announced last week that he was suspended from training for disrespecting his teammates and the coaching staff.
Now, Matthews has revealed in an interview with MetroFM that Mbule would never play for the club again, adding that he has let himself and his teammates down.
