Mamelodi Sundowns ended the season in winning fashion holding off a late comeback from Royal AM to secure a 3-2 victory on Monday afternoon. Catch up with the highlights here.
The Brazilians took an early lead through Gaston Sirino in the 13th minute and looked to be out of sight when Thabiso Kutumela made it 2-0 just after the break. When Peter Shalulile netted his 23rd league goal of the season to make it 3-0 after an hour, it seemed the party could get started on Downs’ coronation day.

However, Royal AM fought back with goals from Victor Letsoalo and Shaune Mogalila but Chiefs target Letsoalo missed a late penalty as Sundowns held on for the win.
