Bayer Leverkusen’s star striker Victor Boniface has been crowned the Bundesliga Rookie of the season.
Boniface was immense in Leverkusen’s Bundesliga winning campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists in just 22 appearances for Xabi Alonso’s unbeaten history makers.
The Nigerian striker beat off tough competition to the award with RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons, Borussia Dortmund’s Ian Maatsen and Hoffenheim’s Maximilian Beier missing out.
With 13 goals and 9 assists, Victor Boniface is the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season.
