The Serie A centre-back had a breakout 2023/24 season with Bologna, who qualified for Champions League football next season, and has been Italy’s standout player at Euro 2024 despite the reigning European champions’ Euro elimination following a 2-0 defeat to Switzerland in the round of 16.
The Bolognese’s Euro 2024 performance has connected him with a move away from Serie A, with Premier League club Arsenal reportedly interested in signing him this summer transfer window.
