Bafana Bafana captain Thulani Hlatshwayo is set to miss his side’s Fifa World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has been ruled out of the squad due to a knee injury and will be replaced by Cape Town City captain Robyn Johannes.
Meanwhile, Safa also confirmed that defender Erick Mathoho has been withdrawn from the squad after receiving a two-match suspension and was replaced by Mamelodi Sundowns defender Motjeka Madisha.
Bafana Bafana will take on Burkina Faso in their crucial Fifa World Cup qualifier at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
