Billiat to stay at Sundowns for now

Mamelodi Sundowns are poised to lose the services of Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat on a free in June.

There has been wide-spread speculation regarding the future of the former PSL Player of the Season, with a number of clubs including Cape Town City, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates reportedly vying for his signature.

The former Ajax Cape Town man is also reportedly being monitored by a host of international teams, including Azerbaijan champions FK Qarabag, however Sundowns” spokesperson Thulani Thuswa confirmed that Billiat is not leaving Chloorkop during the current transfer window.

“He was at training this morning. He is not leaving,” Thuswa told SoccerLaduma.

Billiat, is said to have refused a new contract with the team which further hints at an exit from the club in the next transfer window.
