Saffas: Dolly breaks duck, Zungu survives relegation

Bafana Bafana winger Keagan Dolly scored his first-ever goal in France, while Bongani Zungu helped ensure his teams’ safety in Ligue 1, writes MARSHALL GOUTS.

Phakamani Mahlambi:

The former Bidvest Wits striker feature in Al Ahly’s CAF Champions League group opener against Tunisian giants Esperance. Mahlambi played 68 minutes as the Egyptian giants played to a 0-0 draw.

Bongani Zungu:

The former Mamelodi Sundowns payed an integral part in his side securing their Ligue 1 status as they Amiens came from behind to play to a 2-2 draw against Paris Saint-Germain. Zungu the most interceptions and passes on the night and only one player had more touches of the ball.

Keagan Dolly:

It took Dolly 31 games in the Ligue 1 to finally break his deadlock, as he scored the first goal in his side’s 2-0 win over Nantes. The result leaves his side in eighth position on the table with two games left in the campaign.

Lebo Mothiba:

The Bafana striker made his 12th league appearance for LOSC Lille and was replaced after 71 minutes as they secured a 3-2 victory against Toulouse. With two games left in the league, Lille have moved up to 16th spot on the table

Dino Ndlovu:

The former SuperSport United striker continued his rich vein of form netting his eighth league goal in his ninth appearance of the season as Zhejiang Greentown played out to a 2-2 draw with Wuhan Zall.

Kamohelo Mokotjo:

The defensive-midfielder played the entire 90 minutes as Brentford ended their season with a 1-1 draw against Hull City. Mokotjo ends his debut campaign in the second division with 35 appearances made, one goal scored and two goals created.

Lebohang Phiri:

The former Brondby midfielder made his 21st appearance in the Ligue 1 this season as he came on as a 66th minute substitute for Guingamp who succumbed to a 3-1 loss against DIJON. His team occupy eleventh spot on the table.
