Hadebe ruled out for at least a week

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Zimbabwean defender Teenage Hadebe has been ruled out for just over a week.

The 23-year-old sustained a head injury during Amakhosi’s narrow 1-0 defeat to relegation-strugglers Baroka at the FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.

Hadebe was forced off the field and subsequently replaced by Ryan Moon after colliding with the post while attacking a ball into the area.

The Soweto giants have since released the following statement regarding defender.

The former Chicken Inn defender has slowly established himself as a key defender in the Amakhosi squad under the guidance of Ernst Middendorp.

Hadebe has since made 15 appearances across all competitions, while grabbing one assisting so far this season.
