Bafana Bafana opened a three point lead at the top of Group G in the Fifa World Cup qualifiers after they defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 at the FNB Stadium on Thursday evening.
A goal from Teboho Mokoena saw South Africa walk away with maximum points to extend their lead at the top of the Group G standings with 13 points from five games, three points clear of second placed Ghana on 10 points.
