Mamelodi Sundowns proved too strong for Marumo Gallants after defeating them 4-0 in the DStv Premiership at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday evening.
Goals from Themba Zwane and Pavol Safranko as well as a brace from Peter Shalulile saw Sundowns maintain their unbeaten start to the season, while also going 1000 minutes without conceding a goal.
The win sees Sundowns extended their lead at the top of the DStv Premiership standings to five points over second placed Stellenbosch, while Gallants dropped down to the foot of the table with four points after four points after nine games.
