Orlando Pirates co-coach Mandla Ncikazi has admitted that his fate is not in his hands with his side set to end the season trophyless.
The Soweto giants have been starved of silverware over the last eight years with last season’s MTN8 success their only trophy over that period of time.
Despite a poor domestic campaign Pirates excelled in the Caf Confederation Cup progressing all the way to the final but suffered defeat in the final against RS Berkane.

With reports suggesting the hierarchy at the club are searching for a new coach, Ncikazi admitted his fate isn’t in his hands.
“That’s a good question, but you are asking the wrong person,” responded the coach when asked if they have done enough to stay in charge at the club after the 4-1 win over Maritzburg.
“Sometimes you will win the league, be on top of the game, and lose your job, and sometimes you will be bottom; you see coaches with the team bottom of the league they will go with the team. It is not my decision,” he added.
