Al Ahly star Percy Tau has been named as the Egyptian Premier League Player of the Week following his impressive debut against Ismaily.
Tau had a dream start to his Ahly career after he bagged a brace in the Red Devils 4-1 victory over Ismaily in their league opener last week.
As a result of his impressive debut, the South African was voted by the fans as the Player of the Week, as announced by the Egyptian Professional Football Association.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star fended off competition from Pyramids’ El-Karti and Bank Al Ahly’s Mohamed Helal to claim the weekly award.
