PSG falter at Parc des Princes

Despite the comfort of home at Parc des Princes, PSG could not deliver on the night, as Bayern Munich walked away with victory in the first leg of the Round of 16.

Sometimes the stats do say it all, and Bayern’s 17 shots to PSG’s 8 were a clear indication of how the respective sides came to play. A conservative approach from PSG kept the scores level for the first half, but Kingsley Coman struck on the 53rd minute to break the deadlock and score what would be the deciding goal in the Round of 16 fixture.

The men from Bavaria survived a late push from the Parisians to maintain the one goal lead and close out an important away victory.
