Bafana Bafana blew their chances of booking a spot at the 2018 Fifa World Cup after they succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Senegal on Friday night.
An inspirational performance by Liverpool star Sadio Mane saw the Lions of Teranga score two first-half goals through Diafra Sakho and an own-goal by Thamsanqa Mkhize.
The result saw Senegal book their spot in next year’s continental tournament, with one qualifying game left to be played against South Africa.
